ここ数年、日本のラグビーの発展を注視してきました。リーグワンは、間違いなくこれからも向上していきます。トヨタに加わることに非常に興奮しており、チームに違いを生み出す決意があります。彼らの野心に非常に感銘を受けておりタイトル獲得の目標を達成する為、共に歩んでいけると確信しています。そしてもちろん、再びスティーブとつながりを持ち、彼と一緒に仕事をすることを楽しみにしています。私たちは常に協力しあい、多くの偉業を共に達成してきました。

I have kept an eye on the development of Japanese rugby over the last few years. There is no doubt Rugby League One is a competition that is improving all the time. I am very excited to be joining Toyota and am determined to make a difference. I have been very impressed with their ambition and am confident we can work together to achieve the goal of winning titles. And of course I am looking forward to linking back up with Steve and working with him again. We have always worked well together and have shared some incredible.

It's really exciting to finally announce that Ian is joining us. Ian, as we all know, is someone I have a strong personal connection with and trust deeply. He's not only an exceptional coach but also a wonderful friend, so I'm eagerly anticipating his arrival. We've already had productive discussions about our plans for next year, and the excitement is palpable. Toyota has been incredibly supportive, and we're increasingly ambitious, not just as a company but also as a club aiming to make our mark in rugby. While progress takes time, Ian's addition is another crucial piece of the puzzle. His knowledge, understanding of the game, and communication skills are second to none, and I'm thrilled to collaborate with him once again.

トヨタヴェルブリッツへの加入をここで発表できることを大変嬉しく思います。誇り高き歴史を持つ、エキサイティングな組織の一員になることを心待ちにしています。また、多くの才能ある選手たち、並びにスタッフと一緒にプレーすること、そして情熱的なサポーターの皆様の前でプレーすることを楽しみにしています。
シドニー・ルースターズとNRLを離れる決断は難しいものでした。これからもルースターズやリーグラグビーでの思い出を大切にしていきます。今まで私をサポートし、素晴らしい機会を提供してくれた全ての人々に感謝しています。残されたリーグラグビーでの試合を強く終え、最高のパフォーマンスをすることにフォーカスしていきます。
15人制ラグビーを再びプレーすること、そして名門のジャパンラグビー リーグワンでプレーすることを楽しみにしています。15人制への移行が簡単ではないことを理解していますが、その挑戦を受け入れます。
私と家族は日本の文化を吸収し、これから待ち受ける素晴らしい機会に身を置く事が待ちきれません。

I am thrilled to announce that I will be joining the TOYOTA VERBLITZ Rugby Team.
I know that the club has a proud history, and I am eager to become a part of such an exciting organization. I also eagerly anticipate playing alongside all the talented players at the club and working with the staff. I can’t wait to play in front of the team’s passionate supporters. It was a tough decision to leave the Sydney Roosters and NRL. I have cherished my time playing rugby league for the Roosters and will always be grateful to all who have supported me and provided incredible opportunities. I am focused on finishing this year strong and performing at my very best. I look forward to returning to rugby union and competing in the prestigious Japan Rugby League One competition. While I know the transition won’t be easy, I will embrace the challenge. My family and I can’t wait to immerse ourselves in the Japanese culture and explore the wonderful opportunities that await us.

ジョセフ・マヌの入団をとても楽しみにしています。彼は複数のポジションをプレーできる多才なアスリートであり、センター、ウィング、フルバックとして優れたプレーを見せてきました。彼は素晴らしいスキルと仕事への高い倫理観を持っており、15人制へとスムーズに移行できると信じています。また、彼のスキルセットは、私たちのプレースタイルや彼が現在プレーしているラグビーリーグにもうまくフィットしています。彼の合流でトヨタにもたらす可能性を楽しみにしていると同時に、目指す選手になるためのサポートをしていきます。

I'm very excited about Joey's signing. He's a versatile athlete who can play multiple positions, including utility back. I've seen him excel as a Centre, Wing, and Fullback. He has a great skill set and a strong work ethic both of which I believe will help him crossover to rugby effortlessly, and his skill set aligns well with our style of play as well as the game he's currently involved in. I'm excited about his arrival and the potential he brings to the team. We're also committed to supporting him in becoming the player he aspires to be. I'm confident he'll bring elements that complement our game, and I'm anticipating seeing him in action.
