Independent Disciplinary Update: Isileli Nakajima

Isileli Nakajima of the KOBELCO KOBE STEELERS has been suspended for three weeks due to the foul play during the match between KOBELCO KOBE STEELERS and  URAYASU D-Rocks held on 19 January 2025.

This is to inform that the sanction for Isileli Nakajima was reduced to two weeks as a result of Coaching Intervention as part of Head Contact Process that has been submitted to World Rugby from the club.

Nature of Offence: Law 9.11 – Players must not do anything that is reckless or dangerous to others including leading with the elbow or forearm, or jumping into, or over, a tackler.  

Sanctions: 3 weeks (matches) Suspension (Rd 6-8)

The Act: The player made a head contact to the victim player (No.14 of URAYASU D-Rocks)

Elapsed time in match when incident occurred: 02:00 into the 2nd half
